Period cottage in a area of outstanding natural beauty within the Peak District on the banks of the river Dane. Lovely views and walking straight from the door along the river, through the woods and up onto the Roaches, Tittersworth ( Bird Sanctuary circular walk around the reservoir, 5 miles) Ashmount is strictly for 2 guests as you are in my home albeit the space is yours for the time of your stay i live in a totally separate part of the property I am close enough should you require help

Black Cat Cottage in lovely Wildboarclough

Lovely stone-built two bedroom cottage in converted barn and piggery, on a 20 acre farm overlooking Shutlingsloe. The farmhouse and cottage were renovated in 2019, but the cottage retains a rustic charm - stone built and with a stone roof, and some barn features. Walks to Shutlingsloe, Grandbach Mill, Lud's Church, the Cat and Fiddle, and Three Shire Head can all be accessed from the farm, as can the local pub and Blaze Farm for ice cream (challenging walks, includes some walking on road).

A hideaway space to truly savour the grounds of a converted chapel on the edge of the Peak District offering a peaceful and relaxing escape. Located in the picturesque area of Swythamley/Wincle surrounded by an abundance of wonderful places to visit, see and experience. The Cabin has a loo and handwashing facilities inside and there is an outdoor camping shower available for those brave enough! The Cabin has beautiful countryside surrounding it and footpaths and walks aplenty! If you are looking for a quiet back to basics getaway it could be perfect but please do look at the pictures & read the description carefully especially re our rural location and bumpy farm track!

Welcome to the Mariannerie! This cosy cottage nestles under two enormous oak trees in a large garden, with views over open fields. Our family of 5 people plus an Airedale Terrier will give you a warm welcome and will do everything we can to help you enjoy your stay. Simply furnished and comfortable, you can relax inside the cottage or explore the garden - the patio, the hammock, the fire-pit, or the BBQ, or just sitting in the damson orchard admiring the blossom!

Roachside Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Roachside Cottage is situated in the beautiful Roaches Estate, a former private estate and grouse moor, now owned by the Peak District and cared for by the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. The cottage comfortably sleeps 6 people, comprising of 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed downstairs. The views from every angle of the property are utterly breathtaking.
