'Waterside Studio' is a well appointed apartment in an annexe to the main house, but with private access. It is situated in a quiet part of a unique village, which has a sea dock, adjacent to the Lune Estuary and canal basin on a branch arm of the Lancaster Canal. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and anyone who likes all aspects of wildlife, boating and the sea. We are 5 m. south of the historically important University town of Lancaster. The village has a pub village store and cafes.

The Lucky Duck, Patty's Barn, Lancaster, Cockerham

The Lucky Duck is one of 11 cottages at Patty’s Barn, our family-run coastal retreat in Cockerham, just south of Lancaster. Step outside and walk straight onto the coastal path, with sweeping views across the salt marshes and unforgettable sunsets. Sleeping up to 9 guests, this is our largest cottage, with a spacious open-plan living and dining area, a large table, bedrooms across two floors, and four bathrooms, ideal for families and group stays.

Wake up to the sounds of the birds singing! A lovely 3 bedroom barn conversion set in 12 acres of fields, ponds and some wooded areas which you are welcome to explore. The barn has a large open plan kitchen/diner/living space and also a huge second living room. Super fast Wifi (400mb+) throughout and two large TVs in the living areas Blackpool/Preston/Lancaster are all around 20 minutes away and you can be in the Lake District in an hour.
