Peaceful and away from it all but close enough to explore the beauty of the Peak District and Chatsworth House. Matlock is a couple of miles away with restaurants, shops and amenities. A three-bedroom, three sitting room townhouse full of charm, nestling in picturesque Wirksworth in the heart of Derbyshire. There is plenty of space for 6 people and the house is ideal for friends or family - an excellent base for a walking or cycling holiday in the Peak District. Perfect Peak District Stone Cottage Retreat

Matchbox Cottage is an idyllic retreat to the South East of the Peak District, perfect for up to 4 people. We have some of the best walks in England right on our doorstep. Dog friendly, one small or medium dog welcome. Situated only a 4 minute downhill walk to the centre of the historic, picturesque village of Wirksworth. The Old Currier Shop

Spacious and bright cottage, with open fire for the winter months. Well equipped and comfortable for a short stay or a longer break. Off street parking on shared driveway. On a quiet side street but close to nearby independent shops, pubs, cinema and restaurants of Wirksworth. It is a great place to stay if you want a walking or cycling holiday or if you prefer a more leisurely break, taking in the stunning views of the Peak District.

The Annexe to Belle Vue House was built for Servants to the main house in 1823. The grade 2 listed building commands an elevated position overlooking Matlock Bath. The property has been lovingly updated to keep period features while providing modern living. The property is accessible via a flight of stone stairs from the lower drive way. Due to the period nature and historic listing road side parking is necessary.
