A rural but not to rural country cottage where you can unwind, rest and relax. If you love walking, cycling again this is the place with many walks and trails on the door step. Stag Cottage, a gorgeous C16 Elizabethan cottage

Stag Cottage (built C1580) is a beautiful, quaint, historic Grade II Listed building hidden away in the ancient, hilltop Pennine village of Heptonstall. Stag Cottage oozes charm and retains many original features, including stone mullioned windows, arched lintels, wooden beams and a king post truss with wattle and daub infill. A low 4ft 6'' beam separates the kitchen from the living area. The Cottage sleeps 3 people comfortably; a double bedroom with king-size bed and also a single bedroom.
