A charming Grade II stone cottage with original features and south facing garden, near the centre of Dolgellau in Snowdonia National Park. This Victorian cottage is equipped for a family or group of friends, is pet friendly and is 2 minutes walk from the town amenities including shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. An excellent base for mountain biking in Coed-y-Brenin, biking or walking the easy-going Mawddach trail, exploring Snowdonia and visiting the stunning beaches of the West Wales coast.

Shepherds Hut View

Our handcrafted shepherds hut is set in its own idyllic secluded spot along the Mawddach estuary opposite the Cader Idris mountain range offering total peace and tranquillity. It has an open plan living space with a lovely cosy double bed a well equipped kitchen, table and chairs plus an en suite shower room. Outside there is a sitting area with a fire-pit/BBQ and steps which lead down to your own path onto the estuary foreshore from where you are welcome to explore our many acres of land.

Chester House is an ideal base for groups of hikers, mountain bikers or families wanting to explore Snowdonia. Situated in a peaceful corner of our field, nestled in the hills above the small village of Talybont in Snowdonia. Overlooking cardigan bay and boasting panaramic views from the Snowdon mountain range in the north to witnessing a memorable sunset over the Lleyn peninsula with a drink in your hand whilst relaxing in the easy to use electric jacuzzi hot tub.
