Glennhouse Getaway is an elevated nature escape that is conveniently located between downtown South Haven, Douglas and Saugatuck, MI. It is beautifully surrounded by a private beach, sand dunes, driftwood, beach stones, and Lake Michigan. Enjoy the wrap around spacious deck, gameroom, the sunset on the beach (only 7min walk) or the stars at night by the firepit. Any meals can be enjoyed on our three season porch as well. This is a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle, but only a few minute drive to town.

Beautiful, well-appointed upstairs suite in a newly-built home in a secluded neighborhood. Private entrance/stairs bring you to your guest suite which includes a kitchenette with dining/living room. Located only minutes from downtown Saugatuck, (aka the art coast of Michigan), award-winning Lake Michigan beaches, boutique shops, antique mall, breweries, bike path, Performing Arts Center, live music venues, wineries, State Park, restaurants, and more! A Step Away | The Retreat – Walk to Town Escape

Our neighborhood abuts the Peterson Nature Preserve and is located across the street from the Kalamazoo River. Downtown Saugatuck is a short walk and the beaches are easy drives. Our adjacent one bedroom guesthouse may be available for rent (a fence with a gate separates the two homes) if more space is desired. Enjoy all amenities offered inside and out. All "A Step Away" guests receive a discount when shopping our local store during their stay. Lastly, we're dog friendly (w/approval & fee).

The perfect place to escape to nature and serenity as you relax in front of the wood stove in our cozy cottage! under 3 minutes from Saugatuck Dunes State park, which leads to Lake Michigan (a 5 minute bike ride). 5 minutes from Downtown Saugatuck and all kinds of local shops, restaurants, and entertainment! 10-15 minutes from Holland for enjoying annual festivals such as Tulip Time or Girlfriends' weekend Downtown! Come get cozy and reset away from the hustle and bustle!

Located near Saugatuck, South Haven & Holland - close to beaches, dunes, wineries, breweries, orchards, pickle ball, playgrounds & skiing in the winter. Kitchen w/everything for cooking, laundry, full bath, 2 bedrooms each w/ queen bed, Wi-Fi, deck, gas fire pit (May-Oct), short walk for groceries & restaurants. Dog friendly. (Remember, dogs must be included as pet guests when you book)

Conveniently located halfway between Downtown Holland and Downtown Saugatuck/Douglas. This remodeled 1881 farmhouse on a quiet street perfect for families or a couple's getaway. Situated on 3 acres, surrounded by woods perfect setting for a for a campfire and star gazing. Eat and entertain out on the deck which features a grill, dining table with plenty of seating for everyone. Bring your boat and water toys, public launches are easily assessable and close by.
