The house holds a good central position close to airports; Glasgow airport is 30 minutes away and Edinburgh airport is 40 minutes drive and is a good base for a variety of day trips in and around the city. Twechar is situated on the Forth and Clyde canal which is used for cycling, walking and kayaking. There are many walks in and around Twechar itself for instance the Roman Fort and easy access to the Trossachs.

A self-contained studio apartment with separate access from the main house giving total privacy for guests. Perfect for people starting their journey on The West Highland Way, or for those looking for a relaxing trip. The property is roughly a 15 minute walk from Milngavie train station/ transportation can be provided if required. Allanfauld Farm is a working family farm with sheep and cattle, situated along the hills of Kilsyth. The cosy and comfortable garden house is located in the beautiful farmhouse garden, surrounded by trees and sits next to a lovely glen. It is in a very handy central location for all visitor attractions and scenic areas near Glasgow, Stirling, Falkirk and Edinburgh, as well as nearby towns of Kirkintilloch and Cumbernauld. Near the Forth and Clyde canal and the John Muir Way.

Tin Lid Cottage - cosy ground floor flat

There's 200 years of history in our cosy little cottage. Part of the original village cross and formerly ‘Bab’s Shop’, it is now a one bedroom haven. There's wonderful walks from the doorstep and it's a great base to explore the cities and sights of central Scotland. Our quiet & lovely village pub, The Swan is open Friday- Monday. It was the first community owned pub in Scotland and has recently had a major refurbishment. Be sure to book ahead, it’s popular!

We have a converted double garage that is separate from our house. It comes with high spec kitchen facilities, fridge freezer, hob, wine chiller, microwave and washing machine. It is self sufficient with its own bathroom with electric shower as well. It has a double bed. Car parking is also available. There is a TV with Sky Q in the flat also. It has fitted wardrobes and lots of room for storage. Electric heater in living room.
