The apartment is located in the town centre on Ballycastle's main shopping street, above a shop near the Diamond. Town centre shops, restaurants, bars and museum are nearby and the beach, ferry terminal and tourist office are a few minutes' walk away. Because of its town centre location the apartment windows are double-glazed. However, traffic noise during the day and revelry noise at weekends is to be expected, until the pubs close at about 1am.

Rusheyhill Loft, is in Rusheyhill Apiary, a private eco-friendly conservation/biodiversity/project. We keep and breed the native Irish Honeybee.
