The house is a genuine redwood Log house. It has a fantastic view. It is 30 years old and has the old country style. You can hear different kinds of birds, including kiwis at night. The house was built on an old house site so is surrounded by large established trees. You are centrally placed so can visit the sites, East, North and West. It feels like you are away from it all but you are only 15 minutes from Kaitaia. There are approximately 20 different beaches to visit in the Far North area.
