Visit either of our beautiful Victorian apartments, 'The Nevis' and 'The Lomond' are located in the heart of Milngavie, and 50 metres from the start of the epic West Highland Way. 'The Nevis' and 'The Lomond' apartments sit side by side with each other, they operate independently with four guests in each, but if you wanted to have eight guests staying over the two apartments this is also available on request. If you ever find 'The Nevis' is full on the dates you require please check 'The Lomond' for availability. Enjoy your stay in one of Scotland’s best towns. Make the most of the beautiful local walks, use it as a gateway to the City of Glasgow or as a starting point for the Highlands. Whatever you decide, you'll be warm and comfortable in 'The Nevis' at West Highland Apartments. Book your stay today. 'The Nevis' has been thoroughly modernised, while retaining a number of the original features. The interior decor beautifully harmonises the contemporary and traditional, and maximises the historical detail throughout. This apartment is a comfortable, functional, yet truly luxurious place to stay. 'The Nevis' is situated on the first floor. You will be welcomed by a traditional Scottish 'Close' gaining access to the front door from two flights of stairs, around 20 in total. The apartment has been refurbished with the traveller in mind, but also being careful to retain some of the original Victorian features. The apartment has a self contained kitchen, including oven, hob, microwave, fridge and plenty of storage for that long stay. There is also a dining table in the bay window for four people to enjoy a home cooked meal. If cooking at home isn't your thing, there are several restaurants within 100 metres for you to enjoy stunning Scottish food, or just a drink. Garvies restaurant is 15 metres from the apartment front door and currently offer any guests at West Highland Apartment 20% off their food bill. The apartment has two double bedrooms offering a Superkng in the master bedroom and a pair of single beds in the second bedroom (as a special request the second bedroom can be made into a double if required). Both bedrooms have wardrobe space and a vanity unit including a hairdryer in Bedroom two. The main living room of the property offers a large three and two sofa for the weary (or not so weary) traveller to relax. There is a 55" 4K TV with Virgin Fiber WIFI if you fancy a movie night via our free Netflix offering. Access to the self contained kitchen is done via the hallway, offering that modern touch in a traditional property. West Highland Apartments use the key drop box system with a unique code issued at the time of your booking, but be assured we will always be on the phone for any help or support you may need. Milngavie Town Centre currently boasts twelve places to eat and enjoy a coffee: Costa, Cafe Alba, F Pizza, Andiamo, Finsbay, Garvies to name a few. It has over 120 businesses operating from the centre and its popularity is growing year on year. Milngavie is most recognised for being the start of the West Highland Way, but other walks, including the Clyde Costal Path, also meet in Milngavie. Throughout the year many events take place in the town including the Highland Games, Cycling Events, Car Events, Milngavie Folk Club, so you will have plenty to choose from on your visit. Don’t forget the stunning Mugdock Country Park or Waterworks for a stroll and a coffee. 'The Nevis'' is situated 150 metres from Milngavie Train Station, which gives you access to Glasgow City Centre in 20 minutes or Edinburgh in just over an hour. This B-listed townhouse annexe has its own entrance, private bathroom. It is fresh, clean, uncluttered, well equipped and cosy. Located in a great spot, with the Botanic Gardens, University of Glasgow, Byres Road, Great Western Road, Hillhead subway etc. within easy walking distance. The area is quiet and leafy yet minutes from all the lovely bars and restaurants of the west end. NB: IF YOU HAVE MOBILITY ISSUES PLEASE CHECK DETAILS CAREFULLY SINCE THERE ARE STEEP STEPS TO ACCESS THE PROPERTY.

Lovely one bedroom Milngavie apartment

The apartment has one large bedroom with a very comfortable super king size bed and the lounge has a pull down double bed. Travel cot is available on request. The kitchen is fully fitted with washing machine, microwave, coffee machine etc. The shower room/ toilet has a large walk in shower. Superb location less than a 5 minute walk to Milngavie town centre, train station and the start of the West Highland Way. Milngavie has an array of shops, restaurants and bars.
