If an IPA fan we are a 5 minute walk to The Mill Whistle Brewery. The cottage has keyless entry and a choice of 2 ground level decks. Spacious living area and kitchen provide all the comforts you would need for your stay, just bring groceries. Beau Retreat is a new construction, 6oo sq ft with its own entrance, parking, ac/heating unit, TV, fridge, microwave and toaster oven.

We are centrally located near Emerald Isle, Hammocks Beach State Park, Camp Lejeune, Croatan National Forest, and historic downtown Swansboro. Lastly, we are a veteran owned and operated business. This fully remodeled 1940's Beaufort gem is steps from Town Creek Marina and Front Street! Shops, restaurants, tours and several ferry options are within walking distance. The house offers two queen bedrooms and two full bathrooms, laundry, reading nook, fully stocked kitchen, linens, towels, beach cart, yard games & so much more. The 'Outhouse' is attached to the deck and is a separate space to hangout, watch movies & use the PS4. There is everything you need at the Mermaid Cottage!

We are walking distance to Morehead City downtown waterfront with restaurants, bars, shopping, nightlife, dive shops, art galleries, charter boats, fishing and kayaking. You can walk to Shevans park or drive 5 minutes to downtown Beaufort, 5 minutes to Atlantic beach and 25 min to Cherry Point. Boat ramp access is 2 blocks away (1 min).

There's a fenced in yard for furry family members. I also have several kayaks you can borrow but you will need a way to transport them. Note: There is an internal stairway that connects the two floors.
