The cabin is designed so that you can reconnect with yourselves and nature (there’s no TV!) - play board games, cook up something wonderful in the kitchen, or go exploring at one of the fabulous Somerset Levels nature reserves! Hello! We are Rob and Kate and we have poured our heart and soul into our guest house. Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Shared driveway next to main house. Not suitable for children or pets.

Mechanic's Rest, a funky new place in Weston !!

The Mechanic's Rest is our latest addition to the Ellenborough Hall Holiday Flats. The old workshop for the Hall has recently been lovingly restored into holiday accommodation. On the ground floor is the living area with a fully equipped kitchen , a leather sofa, single chair, a TV and a Marshall Bluetooth speaker. There is a modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Upstairs on the Mezzanine is a luxury king size bed. Mechanic's Rest is fully self contained with secure off road parking.

The Vault

The Vault is a really special space, which we hope you can see from the photographs. It is a basement studio apartment with its own private entrance. It is quiet and cosy with underfloor heating and an ambient temperature all year round. This property is very central, making it easy to plan your visit. We are very close to the harbour and the property is on the famous Georgian Square, Queen Square. It feels like you have stepped into a film from Jane Austen as you come out of the building.

Your own part of the house, private entrance, including bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen. Parking on site. Your living room contains a sofa, TV, DVD/CD players. Your kitchen has a microwave, kettle and toaster (no oven or hob). There's a table in your kitchen to use for eating or as a workstation. Village pub serves food just 5 minutes walk. Chinese takeaway 5 mins walk. Handy for tourist resorts of Weston-super-Mare, Cheddar Gorge. Nearest sandy beach is 10 minutes in a car.

Delightful country cottage in a farm setting. Private garden with hot tub, firepit, BBQ and relaxing chairs. Cosy wood burner for chilly evenings. Beautiful and tranquil location set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Access to miles of footpaths from the front door, including the West Mendip Way. Close to Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Bath, as well as many other beauty spots and attractions. A good selection of pubs and restaurants, some accessible on foot. Up to 2 dogs are welcome.

Relax on the patio, catch a view of the Red Kite soaring high, or visit the sheep, ponies, goats, ducks and chickens in the surrounding field. Get active on the many footpaths leading from our property, gently cycle the Somerset levels or try the more challenging rides on the Mendip Hills. Active or relaxing - we guarantee you will enjoy the view from our Lodge at the end of your day.
