The Old Stables is a spacious, tastefully furnished private retreat, perfect for two. We’re located in the pretty village of Bredon just 3 miles from the historic riverside town of Tewkesbury, close to Cheltenham and a short drive to the north Cotswolds. Plenty of walking in the area, places to visit, shopping in Cheltenham or stay put with a good book, film or glass of wine in the garden. Or just talking to each other! *The Fox and Hounds is still closed due to a fire (note added April 2026)

Spread over two floors the open ground floor contains a small fully equipped kitchen and comfortable seating area with large wood burner. There is a private outdoor area for your enjoyment. Upstairs has a super king size bed and ensuite bathroom. All bedlinen is 100% cotton with down duvet, pillows soft towels and lots of wardrobe space.

It has everything you need to make your stay comfortable with high quality stylish furnishings including a king sized bed with Emma mattress. The village has 2 pubs and a village shop and is perfectly situated for easy access to Cheltenham Festivals, Upton-upon-Severn and the Cotswolds. Wonderful walks directly from the cottage. The newly converted Cart Shed is our high specification get away (from it all ) for two. The quickest look at our photos will show you an abundance of Cotswold Limestone and oak beams in a tasteful modern setting. The Little Retreat is a beautiful stable conversion. The open plan living/kitchen/dining room has a vaulted ceiling, stylish lighting and everything you need to cook up a storm. With cosy underfloor heating throughout, this is a special place, with only 5 star reviews! The Malvern Hills, and the new Cotswold Designer Outlet are on the doorstep, the Cotwolds Hills, Jeremy Clarkson's pub and Diddly Squat Farm are less than an hour away. Well behaved dogs welcome by arrangement.
