Hideaway carriage Norfolk broads

This romantic place to stay offers a history all its own. Hideaway in our old railway carriage. We have worked hard to convert this railway carriage to become a homely retreat. Sleeps two. Ideal to sleep, have some toast and tea and then go off and explore our beautiful surroundings of Norfolk. We have a mini fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave for light cooking. Our beautiful little shepherds hut is ready for letting. Get away from it all and stay under the stars deep in the Suffolk countryside. Our Shepherds hut is situated in the corner of our field surrounded by hedging and stunning views. If you’re a keen cyclist there’s many different routes in the area as well as many footpaths for avid ramblers. If star gazing is your thing then we can promise you we are not affected by light pollution and if you’re lucky you’ll hear our resident owls too.

Peacock is a beautiful Shepherd Hut hidden in the quiet woods of historic Ketteringham Hall. A superb place to explore nearby Norwich & Norfolk. The Broads & Norfolk coast are close. Our four luxurious shepherds huts with hot tubs are located on the edge of our field. You can enjoy the views and see the beauty this special place boasts from sitting in your own hot tub. Welcome to a luxury retreat with everything you would expect for a cosy getaway. The hut is dog friendly with secure walled & fence garden. The hut has plenty of walks so why not go down to the river or pop to the gastro pub for food or the beach which is less than 11 miles away. Norfolk boards is only a mile way. As darkness falls, it’s time to toast marshmallows on the fire pit with fairy light all around before snuggling up in the king size bed or in the woodfired hot.

You will find all that’s needed to take the stress away from your stay. A king-sized bed, with luxurious 400 TC Egyptian cotton bedding. There is a fully equipped kitchenette with a butler sink, convection hob, toaster, kettle and microwave. You will have your own personal fire pit by your door and a wood burner inside the hut.
