Kevin built our barn a while back. Airbnb didn't exist and we were excited to be starting a goat dairy. Now the kitchen sits where we used to milk our sweet goats by hand! Kevin, a woodworker has created a work of art. We are happy to offer our guests a vacation space located in the heart of the mountains, 30 minutes from Asheville. 28 acres offer trails for hiking, disc golf, swimming in the pond, and decompress from your life's stress. Romantic cabin near a mountain lake and overlooking a private pond. Our cozy one bedroom log cabin is built for couples and has a hot tub. For no extra cost we have horse shoes, and private fishing ponds. All set in a natural landscape with diverse flora and fauna. Hurricane Helene update: Our property is in good condition. The construction at our lakefront to remove sediment from the lake has finished! The lake will remain lowered until Spring, but that happens many years anyway.

Our recently built Mountain cottage is located within very close walkin distance to nearby Lake Tomahawk, downtown Black Mountain, Montreat and within a 15 minute drive of the Blue Ridge Parkway and downtown Asheville. Please do not ask to bring a Pet. This is a Pet free property. We do not allow pets of any size or type.
