The Old Barn, Buxton - A Dream Come True

It's rare to find a place that's both historic and modern. It has been my dream to renovate the unique and private barn at our Grade 2 family home and finally it has happened! I would love to share it with you. Ours is one of the oldest houses in Buxton dating back to the seventeenth century and was once a coaching stop on the medieval road to London. It is now a boutique property set near the common, ideally situated to explore the Peak District yet just a short walk into the town centre.

Make yourself at home in this grand Victorian three-storey house in central Buxton and the heart of the beautiful Peak District. Four spacious bedrooms and two family-sized bathrooms both with showers and large baths are spread over two floors. The bright living spaces combine period features with modern architecture. Very central with a parking space, we're less than 8 minutes walk to: Buxton high streets, Opera House, the historic Pavilion, train and bus links to Manchester & the Peaks.

Charming cottage with private garden pet friendly

Charming and cosy Crooked Nook is a 2 bedroom characterful little cottage built in the 1750s. It is quirky, filled with history but is also comfortable with mod cons! Centrally positioned in the Peak District National Park at around 25 miles to both Manchester and Sheffield, Crooked Nook is located in the tiny village of Sparrowpit (1200ft!) in the heart of fantastic cycling and walking countryside with routes, rides and paths criss- crossing the Peak District some right from the front door!

The Burrows garden flat in central Buxton

The Burrows is a self-contained garden flat tucked away on a quiet back road in the heart of Buxton. It has its own private entrance and garden (5 steps down) with an off-road parking space for a small car. A deceptively spacious bolthole the flat has one large bedroom with a kingsize bed, bathroom with bath and shower, a library and study area, a light and airy living room, and a recently upgraded kitchen. Flutterby Cottage, Peak District, Private Parking

Cosy, comfortable, well equipped end of row stone cottage in the village of Longnor, which is located within the Peak District National Park. Flutterby Cottage is situated on a peaceful lane yet a 2 minute stroll to the village amenities e.g pub, cafe, chip shop, post office and licensed general store. Surrounded by beautiful country side with easy access to footpaths, hills and dales. Central for all the Peak District has to offer and to the towns of Buxton, Leek, Ashbourne and Bakewell

Folly, Wormhill, Buxton, Peak District, Derbyshire

The Folly is a sympathetically converted one bedroomed barn, attached to the main farmhouse. It has been furnished to a high standard and sleeps 2. It is the perfect base from which to explore the stunning Peak District, with walks and rides from the doorstep. We are situated in the country village of Wormhill, Derbyshire, deep in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Closest towns are Tideswell and Buxton. We are very close to the Pennine Bridleway, Monsal Trail and Limestone Way.

Stay in this traditional 17th Century cottage, listen to the relaxing stream from your bedroom window before you enjoy all the jaw dropping scenery when you step out of the front door. Situated in the heart of the beautiful village of Castleton, right next to the stream and enjoying a superb location near the 6 local pubs and numerous cafes. Your double room, with en-suite shower room, lounge and kitchenette are self contained. Walk out of the door and be on a footpath within minutes.

A Buxton Eco-house for Peak District adventures

The cottage is located in central Buxton, 10 mins walk from the cultural centre around The Opera House and Crescent Spa Hotel. It is convenient for Bus and Rail connections. There is a single VW Golf sized parking place (larger if you're careful) at the rear with metered EV charge point. We have designed the rebuilding to include a room-in-the-roof bedroom, whole house ventilation with heat recovery, underfloor heating throughout, powered by Mitsubishi Ecodan Air Source Heat Pump.

Large 2 bedroom masionette apartment spread over 2 floors. Newly refurbished, a real labour of love..and endless youtube videos!! Central location, on a main road but quiet and private. No onsite parking but plenty of free on road parking on numerous side streets. Pick up and drop off at the door. A 5 minute walk to Buxton town. Electric Fire, Smart TV, Arcade machine with 60 retro games (including Pac-Man,space invaders, donkey kong) and Wifi make for those chilled cosy nights!

Beautiful Groom's Cottage, Ashford-in-the Water

A beautiful, recently converted barn which was originally the Groom's Cottage. Newly renovated in 2018 this one bed, one bath cottage is set in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views and direct access across the owners' fields to a footpath which leads either down to the famously picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. Separately available is The Coach House, next door, also new and sleeping 4 people in equal style.

This quaint cottage has everything you need for a relaxing break away, whilst being in a great location for nearby attractions this famous town has to offer. The cottage sleeps four in a kingsize and a double bed and has dreamy decor throughout so you will be super cosy during your stay here. Wi-Fi is available, as well as Netflix on the 43” Tv so no home comforts have to be compromised!
