Great views from upstairs, lovely private patio with garden/valley views. Free off-street parking. Upstairs, beamed living/bedroom with comfy bed, Smart TV& WiFi. Downstairs, well equipped kitchen-diner, shower room/toilet. 10-15min walk to Nailsworth centre with many eateries. Unfortunately unsuitable for those with mobility issues due to stairs/low pitched ceiling.

Walnut Cottage lies in the heart of Chalford Valley in the Cotswolds. It is set in a large garden beside the clear, trout filled River Frome. Nearby is the disused Thames Severn Canal with its delightful paths to Sapperton and Stroud. There is also a wide variety of beautiful wooded, grassland and meadow walks. The cottage is set within the beautiful Cotswold village of Bisley. It is set out over three floors and comprises of an open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting room with an exposed stone fireplace with woodburner. TV, wifi and a well equipped kitchen. A very steep wooden staircase leads to the first floor with a double bedroom and bathroom/w.c. Another steep staircase leads to the second floor which comprises of a twin bedroom and a bathroom/w.c.

The Grade II Listed cottage is 300-350 years old with bags of character and authentic charm. It is very comfortable in the snug with its own wood burner and other original features. Go to sleep hearing the owls and wake up to the birds singing. Make breakfast and drink a cup of tea in the garden. There are beautiful walks right on the doorstep including a lake very close by. We quite often see deer from our house.
