It once belonged to the Swythamley Hall estate, where they grew fruit and vegetables for the people of the beautiful, impressive hall. Sit back and relax in your very own garden which is approximately 1 arce! You are surrounded by a private wall, woodland and nature. Sit with a glass of wine or a cooled beer and take in the breath taking views of the rolling fields, trees, animals and the roaches.

Our stylish Shepherds Hut has all you need for a relaxing, peaceful get-away. Nestled in the small village of Dilhorne, (about 6 miles from Alton Towers) you'll be wowed by the panoramic, stunning views & peace & quiet here. There are 2 great local pubs in the village, both offering a fantastic range of food & drink. You'll find some beautiful footpaths to explore through the field gate. The Shepherds Hut is sat in recently landscaped private gardens alongside the River Weaver in the Cheshire Countryside. Located on a private island with 4 other homes. Reached by a private road and bridge. Sat on Dutton Locks next to the spectacular Dutton Viaduct, Dutton Horse Bridge and Dutton Sluices, all feats of 19th Century engineering. This is a picturesque, peaceful spot, steeped in history. Superb for activities like angling, bird watching, walking, cycling, kayaking and relaxing

The clever design allows both a dining table with chairs or comfy seating to relax by the wood burner. Our biofuel hot tub can be hired for your stay. Meet our animals whilst wandering our fields or walk from the property in to Dimmingsdale & Alton village. We’re a 5 minute drive to Alton Towers.
