Harry's Hut is a 10 minute walk from the South West Coastal Path on the rugged North Devon coast, close to the Cornish border. It's a cosy, airy space - complete with wood-burning stove, pizza oven and fully-equipped kitchen - with great views over National Trust land. The Hut is perfect for those wanting to escape the big smoke, to chill in front of the fire, bird watch, walk, swim at secluded beaches or travel country lanes to enjoy this wilder patch of the English countryside and coastline.

Situated 1 mile from the village of High Bickington along a quiet country lane, it is ideal for walking, cycling and beach holidays. With only the birds to wake you, The Little Barn is a tranquil escape to enjoy. It is located between Dartmoor and Exmoor and a 30 minute drive to the beautiful Devon beaches of Saunton Sands, Westward Ho!, Woolacombe and Croyde Bay. There are miles of Tarka Trail to walk and cycle along.

Situated privately within a working farm, relax on the spacious patio, secluded garden or in the luxury hot tub. Each bedroom has a spacious ensuite with stand alone bath and walk-in shower. Underfloor heating and a cosy wood-burner. There is an EV charger at the barn. Beaches and moorland all within a half hour drive. Being within a working farm, sadly we cannot allow dogs.

Come and stay in our cosy off-grid Shepherd's Hut. It's in a peaceful, rural location, next to our woodland and orchard, with fantastic views over the river valley and beyond. We are near world-renowned surf beaches and there are excellent walks both by the sea or further afield on Exmoor. Otherwise, you could just put your feet up, relax and admire the view! A south facing stylish getaway in the middle of Exmoor National Park. There is private fishing for the keen fisherman, endless doorstep walks, fresh water swimming, a short walk into Dulverton for cream teas, boutique shops and fabulous places to eat. There are French doors that open out onto a stone patio where you can sit and take in the views. Well behaved dogs are very welcome too.
