The Barn is tucked away in a private courtyard set back on a picturesque and quiet lane that leads towards the village high street. Steeped in history and oozing character, it dates back to the 18th century. Vaulted ceilings and old beams frame the bedrooms which are furnished with an ornate bed/sofa bed/Egyptian cotton bed linen in a combination of dusky pinks/greys all in a shabby chic style. Chandeliers, silk bedspread, Farrow & Ball paint and Bamford Botanical sustainably made toiletries.

We are right on the edge of the beautiful village of Cookham. The accommodation is annexed to the main house and is accessed through a secured side-gate for total privacy. There is also free private parking on the front drive. The room is ideal for people who need to commute (1 hour by train to London, 25 minutes drive to Heathrow), or families who need to have additional accommodation for their loved ones to stay in the area. A beautiful Swedish built cottage with all amenities tucked away on a 2 acre plot, ca 40 m gradual downhill, from main house. Suits 2 couples travelling together or a family of max 5. We are lucky to have many different restaurants,pubs and Michelin Star restaurants very close to us. 15 min walk to train station. If you like to hike, there are many trails here that offer spectacular views. Perfect access to Cookham, Marlow and Henley Regatta and Legoland. No TV but superfast Wi-Fi:)
