The Surf Shack, Causeway Coast, Ballycastle.

The Surfer’s Shack is a unique tiny space created from an upcycled shipping container. The decor is inspired by the local Causeway coastline. If you’re looking for a quiet secluded getaway, this is the place for you, as the shack is surrounded by rolling county Antrim farmlands, all the while being within minutes of the top spots such as the giants causeway, Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, the dark hedges and the Bushmills distillery. A little further (15 minutes drive) will take you to Portrush.

We can't wait for you to stay! Beattie's Byre is located not far from the local village of Broughshane, on our family farm. With forest walks, animal parks, golf courses, shops, play areas, coffee shops and restaurants within 5 miles there is plenty to explore or you can choose to stay on site where our garden and patio areas are complete with comfortable garden seating and hot tub overlooking Slemish Mountain. Detached farm cottage in a superb location on the Causeway Coastal Route above Whitepark Bay - midway between Ballycastle and Bushmills. The cover picture shows Ballintoy Harbour, a local beauty spot just a few minutes drive. Many attractions of the Causeway Coast region are just a five minute drive - eg, Bushmills, Giant’s Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede, Portballintrae, Dunluce Castle, Dark Hedges and Ballycastle. Ideally placed for day trips to Belfast, Londonderry and Donegal.

It's the perfect spot to enjoy a romantic getaway, relax with family & friends, or get active outdoors, enjoying many walking /biking trails nearby. There are walks to suit every ability, breathtaking views and the stunning Glenariff Waterfalls' walk is a stone's throw away in the Forest Park.
