Original house and barns were bought by a young John Connolly upon his return from USA early 1900’s. His home became known as Connolly’s of the lough. Now his granddaughter and family have restored the house and barns bringing a unique peaceful place to relax for a mini break, fishing , walking and simply do nothing or relax in the freestanding bath tub .

A beautiful modern S/C apartment located on the edge of Oxford Island Nature Reserve set on the shores of Lough Neagh only 20 minutes south of Belfast, 30 minutes from the beach and 40 minutes from the Mourne mountains . The house is set on the grounds of a thatch cottage where we live with dogs, cats and hens which roam about freely waiting to welcome newcomers and overlooks stunning countryside.
