Welcome to my city retreat! 1 bedroom, ground floor apartment with private entrance and off road parking, in the quiet & leafy Bournville area, convenient for B'ham Uni & QE Hospital. The bars and restaurants of Stirchley are a few minutes walk, as are bus and train services to the city. Or, relax in your own canal side area with covered seating. As your host, I've curated the space to reflect Birmingham and the apartment is personally managed, so you will always be in direct contact with me.

This hideaway home is a special little gem, tucked away in the heart of this beautiful historic town. This special place is a stones throw from all the local attractions, buzzing street bars and every type of restaurant to suit those lovers of gastronomy delights. This newly renovated grade 2 listed apartment is surrounded by striking period architecture, the building itself originally dates back to circa 1600. It is said to have been the home of Richard Quiney, a contemporary of Shakespeare.

Our little guest house is perfect for a couple wishing to explore the local area. 5 minutes from Solihull, 10 minutes from the NEC and airport 15 minutes to Birmingham City Centre 20 minutes to Warwickshire 50 minutes to the Cotswolds There is a private entrance via a shared garden, a small kitchen and living room. A cosy bedroom with king-size bed and bathroom. There is also a sofa-bed suitable for little ones in the living room. Guests can use the courtyard to the side of the apartment.

Refurbished in July 2023 and including free Wi-Fi & Netflix this is an ideal space for a city break, work trip or for any visiting academics.

The charming suite has a comfortable double bedroom, kitchen, en-suite, laundry, living and dining spaces, and is just what's needed for any stay away.

Most of the attractions are within walking distance and this home is reputed to have once belonged to Richard Quiney, a contemporary of William Shakespeare and author of the only remaining letter written to him. The Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Stratford-upon-Avon train station are both only a 5 minute walk from the property.
