River Cottage Near Loch Lomond

River Cottage is a detached riverside property located in the quiet village of Croftamie on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. This charming cottage has been finished to a high standard and enjoys lovely views over rolling fields. The spacious decking area overlooks the river "Catter Burn" and is an ideal vantage point for watching the abundance of local wildlife. As an added bonus, free riverside fishing is available from within the grounds of the cottage and there is direct access onto open fields. The open plan living space has two large sofas (one being a sofa bed, making it possible to accommodate up to four adults). Please note the supplement for the extra guests/sofa bed. The kitchen area is fully fitted with table and chairs for dining. We have excellent restaurants nearby - The Clachan in Drymen, is the oldest licensed pub in Scotland (1734) The Oak tree at Balmaha or The Old Mill in Killearn, all serve excellent food in a friendly atmosphere. We are delighted to welcome dogs as long as they bring their own beds, are not allowed on furniture and not left unattended. Worth noting that we have chickens roaming freely and the cottage is surrounded by fields which have livestock. We charge £10 per dog, per night and this can be paid at check in. Accommodation details Ground floor Property is all at ground floor level, has electric oil filled radiators and comprises: Lounge Area: With electric stove effect fire, satellite TV/DVD, WiFi, sofa bed (there is an additional charge of £50 for bedding for the sofa bed) and patio doors leading onto decking area. Dining Area: With table and 4 chairs Kitchen Area: With electric oven and electric hob, kettle, toaster, tassimo coffee maker, microwave and fridge/freezer. Bedroom: With king size bed, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers, hair dryer and view over farmland Shower Room: With shower cubicle, WC and wash basin. Facilities All power, bed linen, towels and bathrobes included. Cot and high chair available on request. Miscellaneous Small enclosed garden, large decking area with outdoor seating and BBQ (coals not supplied), with views over river. River access (youngsters take care!) and free fishing from river bank. Access to open farmland along river. Wireless broadband connection. Appletree Cottage (sleep 8) Croftamie, Loch Lomond

Appletree Cottage is a cosy, bright, newly built cottage on a quiet back road in Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The cottage has four en-suite bedrooms and biomass heating throughout. The spacious open-plan living area has underfloor heating, and large picture windows offer stunning views south, across open countryside. Situated a small apple farm, Appletree is perfectly located for walking, golf, hiking, cycling, fishing, boating, riding, wildlife spotting and the local village cafe.

The Anchorage, Family Friendly,Views, plus Kayaks

The Anchorage, Arrochar, was built circa 1913 and has been newly upgraded in December 2019 giving the cottage a luxurious interior with gas central heating and beautiful wood burning stove. Two ensuites and a beautiful bathroom provides guests with plenty of room whilst the large garden with pizza oven and BBQ has amazing views where guests can relax on the decking or seek shade in the lean to. Everyone can use the fire pit, games room or play area to keep occupied or use the Kayaks provided.

Old Smiddy Cottage with lochside hot tub and sauna

Short Term Let Licence No ST00306F A former blacksmiths workshop lovingly modernised to provide a bright and comfortable cottage. Located on the waters edge of Loch Katrine in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher etc. Linens are provided for your stay. For the 2026 season, we have a new hot tub and sauna available. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate a Sunday arrival or departure.

Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

Altquhur Cottage is in a beautiful location with stunning views over the Campsie Fells, 10 minutes by car to the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond. The cottage is set on a farm with horses, cows and sheep in the surrounding fields and hens roaming around outside the garden. Entire cottage with garden and great views!

Enjoy Oakdene Cottage and its great views with hosts next door. Dog friendly with nearly an acre of established garden and space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area whilst being relatively close to Glasgow with good connections and only ~50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.
