Whilst staying at Banksia there is little need to have a vehicle as you can walk to the beach, cafes, restaurants & supermarkets. The bus stop is just at the end of the laneway on Griffin Rd. You might like to take a short bus ride into Manly where you can hop on a ferry to take you across to the City & Bondi - if you are so inclined to venture to the 'dark side'. Try a walk around Dee Why lagoon to check out the bird life, or a cliff walk from Dee Why to Curl Curl with stunning views. Walk to Long Reef Marnie Reserve or take a bike ride around Narrabeen Lake. Just so you’re aware, we live in the main house at the front. While you may occasionally hear us, we’re very quiet and respectful of your space. Please respect the neighbourhood while you are listening to your music and keep the noise down. Your retreat is fully private, we absolutely respect that.
