The Barn and adjoining house are over 300 years old the property being a former Gincase We are located in a small hamlet yet close to the local ammenities found in Cockermouth, Carlisle and the Harbour Town of Maryport, ideal for exploring the Solway Firth with views over to Scotland with its beautiful sandy beaches or perfect for visiting the Lakes and Fells.

The Rowan Suite is self-contained within my house, giving you quiet, private accommodation . It is an ensuite double bedroom with king size bed plus your own unique lounge, overlooking garden and woodland. There is car parking and bike storage and is only a short walk from Stocksfield rail station and bus routes. Great base for trips to Hadrian’s Wall, historic properties, Northumberland National Park and the nearby towns of Corbridge and Hexham. A hamper of breakfast goodies is provided.

Whether you want to walk, swim, sightsee, chill, cycle, eat out or shop we have have everything in strolling distance. You will have full cooking facilities, dishwasher and a washer dryer. The en-suite bedroom has super comfy king size bed. We feel very lucky to live here and would love you to enjoy it too.

This property is not suitable for children. Please note this property has a macerator toilet which means some noise when flushing! Also next door property has one also. No bike storage available. This is in a town centre location which means street noise can be an issue! SENSITIVE EARS PLEASE BE WARNED!
