See our "hall of art" where each hallway is an art galleries Laney Layton of Edenton working as an artist since 1973. Just look for her signatures. You tube "tour of Manteo nc" to see this special location in the heart of downtown on a 2nd floor overlooking the lighthouse and Shallowbag bay. Walk to restaurants, bars, shops, docks, and Festival Park/Elizabeth II. Visit The Lost Colony/Fort Raleigh/Elizabethan Gardans, NC Aquarium, and Jockey's Ridge. Just 5 min from the beach, local food, & nightlife. Our dock on the bay is a perfect place to enjoy sunrises and sunsets on the water. This listing is for 4 guests, perfect for a family, friends, or couples. A small cottage with a long-term rental is on the same property, there is shared parking, but no living spaces shared.

We are situated right next to a small private marina. Although the dock is not available for use, the boat ramp is offered for a $5 drop box fee. Perfect for kiteboarders, paddle boarders, wind surfers, or anyone who wants to witness the beautiful Hatteras Island sunsets!

Short walk to the Beach, restaurants, and shopping! Small private beach area on Sound, 2 doors over, is great for small children to explore. Clubhouse located 50 yards with volleyball, pool, and boat ramp.

Welcome to Colington Island. Located waterfront on the sound but minutes to the oceanfront. This 2 bedroom island cottage was built in 1955 and owned by Johnny Moore, the last living witness of the 1903 Wright Brothers first flight. He was one of 5 that witnessed and assisted the Wright Brothers on December 17, 1903. The cottage is located on Johnny's homestead from the early 1900s. Come stay in a historic cottage on the water with kayaks!

Ocean Front Beach House Kearney Castle

Enjoy a home right on the beach. You can see the ocean from most rooms. Sit on the deck and see your family play on the beach, simmer in the hot tub overlooking the ocean, walk to fish head pier, minutes from restaurants and grocery stores. This is a great beach get away for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). In season (from April thru September) we only do full week Sunday to Sunday rentals.
