La Vida Isla Guesthouse

La Vida Isla is a quiet, shady retreat from the beach. This is a place to unwind and relax. We are in a safe neighborhood on Roanoke Island. The cottage is an airy and calming space. We take great strides to make sure it is super clean and well maintained. Our goal is to provide a space for complete relaxation. The cottage and outdoor spaces are very private. There is a patio area with outdoor seating as well as a screened porch. Listen to the wind chimes and birds. Enjoy the flowers.

Welcome to The Casita, our Mediterranean inspired beach bungalow in the Outer Banks. The vision for this home came about after we traveled in Europe and fell in love with the calming, slow-paced lifestyle of villages along the coast, mixed with rich architecture focused on natural elements & a soothing palettes. We designed and renovated this beach cottage to exude inspiration from those experiences and create an escape for ourselves and to share with others. We look forward to hosting you!

Just a 9-minute walk or 2-minute drive to the beach, with free public parking and access nearby. Located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills, you’re minutes from OBX favorites like TRIO, Outer Banks Brewing Station, Jack Brown’s, Kill Devil’s Custard, Chili Peppers, Josephine’s, and Pony & The Boat, Avalon Pier, & mini golf. This newly remodeled room is located in the Historic Salvo Motel. During your stay you will have access to your own private room located a quarter mile walk from the beach. You are also a short walk from the Blue Whale Grocery , Fishing Hole Tackle Shop and Alex's Shrimp Shack (great steamed shrimp!). Additionally you are only a 1.5 mile drive/bike ride from the Salvo Day Use Area which is an ideal spot for kayakers, kiteboarders, windsurfers, and stand-up paddle boarders to launch from.

The cottage stands along the oceanfront in quaint area of Kitty Hawk beach. Very small cottage limited to 2 guests. Remodeled and designed in vintage beach flair. The cottage reminds me of the way coastal homes used to be: simple ; yet, thougthfully integrated into the environment. Approximately 800 square ft. of intimate living space with spacious deck for getting closer to the sea and sky. I provide all the clean linens .Please have prior reviews and be over 29 years of age.
