Escape to rugged waterfalls & canyons
Our tour will take us through mossy forests and fern beds, across a suspension bridge, floating a hundred feet above Lynn Canyon with stunning views of waterfalls and alongside the river to hidden pools that offer the perfect place for a snack of Salmon and Cedar tea. We begin our journey on the world renown Baden Powell Trail, as we follow its winding path through a forest of towering trees Lynn Creek appears alongside us. This trail will deliver us to the Suspension Bridge giving us the chance to gaze into the canyon below taking in the impressive waterfalls from a bird's eye view. The east side of the creek sits above the canyon in a more mature forest and delivers us to Twin Falls a smaller double waterfall. After a short climb, we return to the Suspension Bridge on route to a river beach to brew a little Cedar tea and nibble on candied salmon. Our journey is approximately 5km in length and includes short steep sections with well made wooden steps. The walk is a beautiful figure 8 loop helping us to capture the magic of the canyon while seeing new terrain throughout. Sunset tours include an increased chance of wildlife sightings such as Bears or Owls. Headlamps are provided. Other things to note Please note that this is a non smoking tour. This is due to fire risk in the canyon. Dogs are welcome on this tour! Leash required.
Sailing Experience on a 50' Luxury Yacht
We are happy to welcome you on our beautiful 2011 50 foot Jeanneau Sailboat that is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. We depart Mosquito Creek and motor out of Vancouver Harbour into Burrard Inlet. You will see Coal Harbour, Stanley Park and unique views of downtown from the water. Once we pass under the Lions Gate Bridge we'll set sail and enjoy stunning views of the Vancouver area, Passage and Bowen Islands, Point Atkinson, West Vancouver, Howe Sound and even Georgia Straight. Sit back and relax whilst we serve up a light snack and a selection of Beers, Ciders and assortment of alcoholic beverages as you enjoy the views of English Bay. We have water and pop available for the minors, tea and coffee as well. If you're the more adventurous type, we can put you to work and teach you the basics of how to sail, trimming the sails and even take the helm. After 2 hours on the water pack up the sails and motor back to Mosquito Creek and the picturesque views of Coal Harbour. We offer all kinds of other experiences if your looking for something more private or don't see a date that works for your group. Join us for an action packed day exploring the forest of Lynn Canyon Park & the breathtaking valley of Pitt Meadows. We start the day with a leisurely hike through Lynn Canyon Park. Crossing the 50m high suspension bridge allows a panoramic view over the canyon, forest & raging waters below. Leaving the bridge, we enter into the ancient rain-forest and take a stroll beneath the towering trees above. We join the Baden Powell Trail and learn some interesting facts about the rain-forest and local ecosystem. Following the hike, we take the short drive out to Pitt Meadows. Here we enjoy a fresh and healthy lunch before we begin our bicycle ride along the beautiful dikes & farmland. Pitt Meadows is located in the lower Fraser valley, 50 km from downtown Vancouver & surrounded by the glorious mountains of Golden Ears & Pinecone Burke Provincial parks. We are delighted to be the sole tour operator with access to the stunning Trans Canada Trail located at Pitt Meadows, BC. The Trans Canada trail is the longest recreational trail in the world and spans the entire width of Canada. Enjoy the colorful surrounding farmland, fauna and blooming meadows as we pedal along the majestic trail. North Vancouver Hikes - All Ages and Fitness Levels
We'll ride to Mt. Seymour or Cypress Provincial Park where I'll take you on one of the scenic hiking trails. All of our hikes end with a spectacular view of the city or the Howe Sound. Lunch break will be enjoyed at the top of the mountain with great ocean views and some fun nature games. You can either choose one of these adventures as an option or make it custom based according to your preferences. 1. If you love the beaches, we can go to Jericho Beach . 2. For a mix of city & waterfront experience, we can walk around Gastown and Canada Place. 3. If you love the arts, then we can walk around the colorful streets in Granville Island 4. We can go to the seawall around Science World and capture downtown Vancouver skyline. Special Location: 1.5 hour walk across Stanley Park Seawall from Third Beach to Lions Gate Bridge $250 per person. If you don't choose, Default is 2nd option. I will be sending you up to 20 edited photos which will be ready after a week from the day of the experience. These photos will be digital and are perfect for posting on social media & share with your family and friends. This will be a good way to have your travel memories You can also get all the unedited RAW photos for additional charge of 100 USD. Join us on a 75-minute leisurely 1.1 km walk along the iconic seawall of Stanley Park. This culturally enriched Indigenous tour of history starts at the Stanley Park Information Booth. Along the way you will enjoy the unique Indigenous stories, oral history and perspectives of our shared city, its early developments and our world-renowned Stanley Park. This place has been the home to our peoples and tribes for thousands of years and we would like to share our rich history with you. This tour will have several stops along the way; your guide-ambassador will share how the Salish Sea has provided our people with a sustainable intact society for countless generations. The tour will conclude at the Stanley Park Totem Poles where we will highlight the history and stories of the carved cedar totems, our story poles. Next, we’ll continue our stroll through Mount Pleasant, where you’ll see more incredible pieces of art and the stories that go with them. Our winding trajectory will lead to the next couple of beer samplings straight from the taps at Electric Bicycle Brewing, Faculty Brewing, or similar.
