Rustic Cottage in a Wild Flower Meadow

Sitting pretty in a wild flower meadow surrounded by open fields, this barn conversion is countryside simplicity at its best: updated appliances and rustic furniture arranged for open-plan living to relax unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The barn is located in the meadow behind our thatched cottage. The space is entirely your own and is self catered with a well equipped open plan kitchen. We're on hand should you need any advice or assistance during your stay, though you'll have your own privacy and can interact as much or as little as you'd like. Enjoy pastoral tranquility here whilst being within an easy 10-minute reach of the medieval charm of Lavenham. Public footpaths are close by or venture further afield to admire the beautiful Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds. Once you arrive in the barn, there is a small collection of books about the surrounding area and county. We can of course recommend places to visit.

Flowton Hall Cottage - 2 bedroomed cottage

Flowton Hall Cottage is a spacious self-contained cottage surrounded by fields. It has two bedrooms, (one king size bedroom, one twin bedded room), kitchen, front room, separate bathroom and toilet, hall and outside space. Parking for two + vehicles. There is also the benefit of having 360 Sq ft of storage space should you be on the move between houses which would be separately negotiable. Located 10 min from Ipswich, 25 min from Bury St. Edmunds but in the wonderful Suffolk countryside.

The Strawberry Box is a luxuriously converted old tractor barn located on our working strawberry farm in rural Suffolk. South facing with extensive views across the rolling countryside, it is self contained and private, perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, a romantic break or a base for exploring the rich heritage and beautiful villages around us. There are good pubs within comfortable walking distance and footpaths and narrow lanes to explore close by - or just take a wander around the farm.

It is thought to be one of the oldest buildings still standing in the village, at one time a medieval council meeting house during the height of the East Anglian wool trade. There are lovely walks and cycle rides to surrounding villages and historic market towns like Colchester, Hadleigh, Kersey Lavenham and Woodbridge. The coast (Southwold, Walberswick, Aldeburgh, Frinton, Felixstowe, Clacton, and Lowestoft) are all a comfortable 30 - 45 minutes drive.
