This authentic log cabin, built in the 20's, remodeled in the 50's, has all the fun of a cabin with all the comforts of a modern home. With original 50's decor and furniture, except for the new beds, mattresses and bedding, you'll feel you've stepped back in time! I am about an hour away but can come to the cabin if I'm needed. Nestled among pines, the cabin is set at the base of Mount Meeker. It's a 5-minute drive from Rocky Mountain National Park. A short walk away is a seasonal lodge that’s open from May to September which offers horseback riding and a convenience store. The sofa bed in the living room is a full, the sofa bed in the den is a queen.

That Dam Cabin!

This historic 309-square foot cabin was built in 1932 for men working on the Shadow Mountain dam. When we found it, we knew this would be the perfect getaway. Our cabin is 4 miles from downtown Grand Lake! It's a short drive to restaurants, shops, hiking, fishing, the beach and kayak/boat rentals. Head to Rocky Mountain National park to hike and see wildlife or stay home and enjoy s'mores around the fire. On a clear night the stars are absolutely breathtaking!

Charming Mountain Cabin

Our cabin has natural lighting and beautiful mountain views. It is a 4 minute to drive Silver Lake where you may fish with badges provided. Hike up to St. Mary's Glacier to see snow in the summer and see a spectacular lake. There is skiing, white water rafting, zip lining and casinos all within a 30 to 40 minute drive. The elevation is a little over 10,000 ft.
