Eastmost Cottage is in a wonderful position on the edge of the historic village of Falkland. It's a short walk from the fine Renaissance Falkland Palace, the heart of the medieval village with its independent shops, cafes restaurants and pub. There is great walking in the Lomond hills, accessible on foot. The wonderful Covenanter has great food all day; the Hayloft and Pillars of Hercules are lovely cafes. The Stag is a lovely bistro (our fav). Fine dining at the Boar's Head in Auchtermuchty.

Corner Cottage is situated in the heart of Falkland, Fife. A great location for a romantic or family getaway. Get your walking boots on and explore the surrounding nature such as Maspie Den, Lomond Hills and the historical Falkland Estate. Visit local cafes, shops, restaurants, pubs and of course, Falkland Palace, to enjoy the local atmosphere. It is centrally situated, and a perfect base for visiting many places of interest including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, Pitlochry, Gleneagles, St Andrews, Perth and Dundee. Also, locally, the East Neuk, Falkland and Kinross on the banks of lovely Loch Leven offer many attractions and are well worth a visit.

Tiny House in Cosy Village

Dating back to the 1700s, this tiny house had sat empty for over 50 years until George (Heather's son) invested his life savings to completely renovate it to a high standard, while retaining the original character of the building. Holmlea is a cosy, sandstone cottage c. 1840, nestled in a quiet, pretty little road in the friendly village of Freuchie. With light, spacious, high-ceilinged rooms, Holmlea has an arty, vintage style, and is a welcoming, comfortable and relaxing space. There is free parking in the road opposite the cottage, and a large, free car park (25m away). Most of our guests tell us they feel instantly at home on arrival, and many don't want to leave! The Carthouse (Luxury 2 bed with private hot tub)

The Carthouse is located in beautiful country side and is perfect for those looking for some peace and quiet. Conveniently located with St Andrews, Dundee and Perth all just over 10 miles away. Originally built in 1852 The Carthouse was originally a working building which formed part of the historic Woodmill Mains steading. It has recently been lovingly and sensitively converted by the current owners to the highest standard while still retaining many of the original features.
