The Hayloft

Relax with the family in this peaceful slice of heaven. Set at the end of a single lane track, it is a truly idyllic spot. Wildlife in abundance including deer, hare, owls and other large birds of prey. The property is on our small farm where we keep our horses, chickens, geese and ducks. We are close to Hedingham Castle, only 3 mins by car. Great for attending a wedding! It’s a 10 minute walk to the village of Gestingthorpe with its award winning pub The Pheasant offering drinks and great food.

The Strawberry Box - luxury eco barn conversion

The Strawberry Box is a luxuriously converted old tractor barn located on our working strawberry farm in rural Suffolk. South facing with extensive views across the rolling countryside, it is self contained and private, perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, a romantic break or a base for exploring the rich heritage and beautiful villages around us. There are good pubs within comfortable walking distance and footpaths and narrow lanes to explore close by - or just take a wander around the farm.

This lovely cottage is in a particularly pretty rural setting close to Castle Hedingham, with great walks right from your doorstep and local nearby pubs. The Stables is a 1600’s, Grade II listed farm building recently sympathetically restored with many original features and exposed Oak beams retained to offer a couple a chance to get away from it all and enjoy beautiful countryside in the comfort and luxury of a beautiful little cottage. It is the perfect base for exploring the countryside, enjoying the wildlife, visiting the local venues or the historic villages of Finchingfield, Thaxted, Lavenham and Long Melford, which are all within a 30-minute drive. Alternatively, there is boating on the nearby river Stour, or just enjoying a drink at one of the country pubs along its route.

A large thatched cottage dating back 400 yrs, Dynes Cottage is set in a complex of 3 houses & surrounded by beautiful countryside. With a private outdoor courtyard & a beautiful orchard, you can relax with the whole family. Sleeps 10. The cottage is just 1/2 a mile from Finchingfield, one of the prettiest villages in the country, with great pubs & tea rooms. The cottage is hosted by Catherine who lives on site. Acorn Cottage (4 bed) can be rented in conjunction with Dynes cottage.
