Rustic Cottage in a Wild Flower Meadow

Sitting pretty in a wild flower meadow surrounded by open fields, this barn conversion is countryside simplicity at its best: updated appliances and rustic furniture arranged for open-plan living to relax unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The barn is located in the meadow behind our thatched cottage. The space is entirely your own and is self catered with a well equipped open plan kitchen. We're on hand should you need any advice or assistance during your stay, though you'll have your own privacy and can interact as much or as little as you'd like. Enjoy pastoral tranquility here whilst being within an easy 10-minute reach of the medieval charm of Lavenham. Public footpaths are close by or venture further afield to admire the beautiful Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds. Once you arrive in the barn, there is a small collection of books about the surrounding area and county. We can of course recommend places to visit.

In the pleasant village of Great Waldingfield, with a pub, village shop, and close to Sudbury (3 miles), Lavenham (4 miles), Bury St. Edmunds(16 miles). The Hayloft is a charming detached luxurious cottage with unique character in the center of the stunning chocolate box Lavenham . Situated just off the Market Square the village pubs, brasseries, and coffee shops and much more are just outside the cottage. Parking is not a problem. Close to Long Melford, Clare, Lavenham, Sudbury, Bury St. Edmunds and Newmarket. Countryside walks, river Stour, cycling and antique shops galore. Why not go to Cambridge or racing at Newmarket.

The cottage is perfectly located near the town centre and surrounded by footpaths and beautiful ancient water meadows. A lovely place to rest and recharge. Sudbury area is very dog friendly and you can enjoy most pubs and restaurants with your pooch. We are close to historical towns of Long melford and Lavenham. 10 minute walk to town and shops 15 minute walk to bus and train station 1-2 minute walk to restaurants 1-2 minute walk to meadows and footpaths
