The cottage is situated in a quiet location in the market town of Tavistock. It is within walking distance to the town where you will find award-wining restaurants and pubs, a market and independent shops. Only two miles to Dartmoor National Park. A Victorian miners' cottage, part of the Tamar Valley World Heritage Site, it is cosy and refurbished to a high standard. The Apple Loft is close to the Tamara Coast to Coast Way, a trail that runs all the way along the river Tamar from North to South Coasts.

The choice is yours to relax around the wood-burning stove, escape to the wilds of Dartmoor and beyond or enjoy a local cider in the 16th-century pub opposite.
