'The Nook' stone cottage in peaceful surroundings

The Nook’ is a self contained 2 bedroom cottage annex, inspired by its medieval inglenook fireplace. It is situated at the end of a long drive in a peaceful rural location. Hiking trails abound with Harlech beach, town and castle a walk away. The area has plenty to offer; steam railways, Portmeirion, sandy beaches, ZipWorld and Mt Snowdon are just a car ride away. Alternatively enjoy the Nook’s garden with BBQ/fire-pit and perhaps a game on its unique pétanque pitch or retro games machine.

What was once the Old Doctor's is now a beautiful self contained annex in the centre of Harlech's World Heritage Site. It has an open plan kitchen/living/dining space, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The main bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom can be made up as a single sofa bed/travel cot on request. Here is our newly completed shepherds Hut -Gwenlli a welsh name that depicts the view of Bardsey Island on the horizon. Situated in a peaceful corner of our field, nestled in the hills above the small village of Talybont in Snowdonia. Overlooking cardigan bay and boasting panaramic views from the Snowdon mountain range in the north to witnessing a memorable sunset over the Lleyn peninsula with a drink in your hand whilst relaxing in the easy to use electric jacuzzi hot tub.

I invite you to use my lovely house to enjoy Harlech and the surrounding area. On the edge of a small estate, the house overlooks farmland and has views of mountains in the distance. The Welsh Coastal Path runs behind the garden. There's wifi and Sky TV. Cleaning, bed linen and towels are all part of the service; I just ask guests to enjoy the house with care.
