Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. Our home is set on Dartmoor National Park surrounded by some of the UK’s most stunning scenery. The house is light and spacious with a well kept garden overlooking beautiful Dartmoor. Plenty of parking as well. There are many different walks straight from our doorstep, and many cycle routes. Ten minute drive away is Tavistock an ancient pannier market town. Five minutes walk to the local pub. So many Devon attractions within driving distance and about an hour to Devon and Cornish coasts.

The Wheelhouse at Quinn Tor- A Cosy Dartmoor Stay

Set in the village of Ponsworthy, directly on the Two Moors Way and within short driving distance of many of Dartmoor’s Tors, walks and beauty spots is Quinn Tor with its own beautiful hill and river front, mature oaks- and a rock formation we lovingly call our own little Tor. The Wheelhouse is set on Quinn Tor and has been lovingly converted into a unique and beautiful barn with tranquil, comfortable and modern interiors. It is a much loved home and we are now happy to welcome guests!

Hatchwell Stable - A luxury hideaway for two.

From your own private terrace enjoy the fabulous views of Dartmoor National Park. Full of character, our pretty converted stable block offers luxurious self-contained accommodation for a couple seeking a romantic getaway or those wanting to find some solitude away from the hustle and bustle. Shuttaford - Modern Rustic Barn in Dartmoor Valley

Shuttaford Barn is a recently converted barn on a 16thC Dartmoor farmstead on the edge of the moors next to Holne and Ashburton. It is the perfect spot to explore the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, walk along the beautiful River Dart or head to the many South Devon beaches for the day. Or just relax in the peaceful surroundings of the barn and its garden. In summer months we generally do Friday to Friday bookings. Please message us if you would like to book alternative days.
