Port Moluag House, Isle of Lismore

Our house sits at the bottom of a secret track in a private, historical cove on the beautiful Hebridean island of Lismore. Secluded, quiet and peaceful, Port Moluag is within easy reach of the Scottish mainland whilst feeling totally removed from the pace and noise of city life. The house is newly-built using eco technologies to limit its environmental impact and is surrounded by wonderful wildlife such as seals, otters, and a multitude of birds as well as many sites of historical interest.

Situated at the end of an 8 mile single track road off the NC500, it's perfect to explore the Highlands. Created with love and attention to detail, we wish that you will experience a unique stay in a wonderful little crofting township. Dogs on leads are very welcome.

The Courtyard, Foulis Castle, Highland Scotland

Foulis Castle, Evanton is near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat, 9-5pm). You’ll love my place because of privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.

Gate Lodge on Conservation Farm Isle of Skye

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. Relaxing Farm Steading With Wood Burning Stove

'The Steading’ is a barn cabin on a working farm with wood burning stove set near the North Coast 500 route. Enjoy the peace of the Highlands while painting, writing, yoga, walking and cycling or simply relaxing in front of the fire with a cup of tea. NO SHOWER / NO HOT running water. Sanitizer and hand soap provided. Take your own bedding or very basic bedding provided. No phone signal/WiFi. A traditional croft house, lovingly refurbished, with beautiful uninterrupted views over Sangobeg beach (2-3 mins away) and the North Atlantic beyond. Cosy lounge with wood burning stove, 3 bdrms, 2 bthrms. The famous Smoo Cave and closest pub/restaurant are one mile away. Durness village hosts two shops, petrol station, and another pub/restaurant. Balnakeil Craft Village has local artists and businesses including a chocolatier, hairdresser, eatery, art galleries, and more.

Added later, the adjacent 200 year old cottage has been beautifully renovated and sits in a peaceful location within a 2 acre garden surrounded by open countryside. It’s perfectly situated as a base for exploring the highlands of Scotland, the fabulous beaches and places of interest around the Moray Firth, as well as being on the doorstep of the acclaimed Malt Whisky Trail. The Highland Capital of Inverness is only 20 minutes away.
