AGES 18+ ONLY We are a backpackers accommodation with unrivalled views of Loch Ness - Daily events like Bonfires and Scottish Folk Dance Parties will bring you together with our travellers from across the World. With our own beach, you can even have a dip into the mysterious waters, but be careful, we hear there’s a monster about. We offer a great set of facilities, comfortable dorm-style bedrooms and private rooms, as well as breakfast and a shop with a small on-site bar selection.

Private room in a hostel. Kitchen, bathrooms and common areas shared with other guests. Located across from the train station and only a few minutes walk from the distillery. Situated in the former village primary school and school house set in an acre of ground. Surrounded by mountains and Loch Ericht only a few minutes walk away. Hot tub in summer house outside, available to use for a small fee during summer months of June, July and August.

Portree Independent Hostel PR4

Portree Independent Hostel used to be a old post office for the island. We are right in the center of Portree ( the captial of skye). Only 2 mins walking distance from the bus station( the square) and 5 mins from Harbour. Our Hostel has the best wifi service in this island. We have a massive kitchen, unfortunately, due to the covid-19 and goverment guideline, the guests can only use kettles , Microwave and Fridges at this moment.

Durness Hostel Tiny Private Bunk Room

The Hostel at Mackay's may be a small hostel but what it offers is definitely not on a small scale, set amongst powerful mountains and coastal scenery commanding spectacular views over the North Atlantic Ocean. This true wee gem is owned and managed by Robbie and Fiona Mackay who pride themselves on the warm atmosphere and genuine highland hospitality on offer to all visitors.
