Beautiful rural retreat, outskirts of Swanage

Ideal for walkers, bird-watchers and nature lovers, this quiet bolt-hole is in the garden of one of the oldest houses in Swanage. The Purbeck stone building in the southern outskirts of the town is separate from the main house, has it's own entrance and off-road parking. A five minute walk brings you to the Durlston National Nature Reserve looking out over the Jurassic coast. Durlston Castle, the Lighthouse and the Southwest Coast Path are 15 minutes away on foot. All without crossing a road.

It’s also a great base for walkers wanting to explore the Jurassic Coast and all the incredible views South Dorset has to offer.

Stunning wooden lodge in Purbeck Countryside

A perfect escape from the crowds. This newly built cabin nestles in the Purbeck countryside in the grounds of a Victorian cottage. Sit on your secluded decking and watch the steam trains roll by whilst enjoying relaxing drinks and a bbq. On colder days huddle up on the sofa in front of the logburner or wrap up for some glorious local walks. The historic villages of Corfe Castle, Worth Matravers and Kingston are within walking distance of around 30/45 minutes, with lovely pubs at the end!

The Owl Pod, East Orchard Farm Glamping.

Come and stay on a working sheep and cattle farm. Our 2 pod site has fantastic panoramic views of the purbeck hills and corfe castle. Sit, relax and enjoy all the farm animals and amazing wildlife around! The pods have been named after two of my favourite animals to see 'The Owl' and 'The Hare' Great for exploring and walking! There are footpaths straight off the farm. The village and surrounding pubs are walking distance away. Swanage has a lovely sandy beach is 20 minute drive away.

Poppy Cottage

Centrally placed in the popular village of Corfe Castle. Poppy Cottage is a Grade II listed, semi-detached thatch cottage; alluding to its charming interior. You’ll find all you need and more tucked away in this lovely cottage. Whether you’ve come for a beach break or family adventure in Dorset there is a lot to discover nearby. Studland bay is a 10 min drive away and there are a host of walks in the area. Corfe village boasts many pubs, village shops and the historic castle ruin.

The Cottage is an open plan building next to the entrance to Corfe Common in a tranquil setting. Downstairs there is a King-size bed & upstairs there are 2 single beds . Sleeping areas are open plan but have thick curtains that can be drawn to create a private and cosy space. Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty close to the coast, it is scrupulously clean & is tastefully decorated with a pretty view from the south facing window. Tea/coffee making facilities, a light breakfast of pastry, fruit & yogurt is available in the room. You will feel very comfortable in a stylish space in lovely surroundings. Also use of a pretty patio, parking space & fridge.
