Guests say: “Wish we’d stayed longer!” “Spotlessly clean”, “Comfiest bed ever!” Tucked back in a peaceful, elevated corner of Weem, the renovated Old Whisky Still is a gorgeous vaulted cottage with beams. Very well equipped & an ideal base for rest & activities. Just a few mins walk to Castle Menzies, the Ailean Chraggan bar restaurant, fantastic walks, River Tay, forest tracks etc. 2 min drive/easy 20 min walk to Aberfeldy for shops, fuel, cafes, food. 5-star, helpful (but v unobtrusive) host!

The Arns Cottage has been beautifully converted from a traditional stone built stables into a cosy, luxurious retreat. Located within the gardens of the main house and accessible down a farm track, the cottage is surrounded by the stunning Perthshire Hills. It is in a perfectly central location for exploring Scotland - 15 mins from Perth and an hour's drive from Edinburgh, Glasgow and St Andrews, 2 miles from Auchterarder and only 4 miles from the world famous Gleneagles Hotel. Beautiful, interesting interior with thousands of books. Central heating and wood burning stove. Original range in kitchen, two double bedrooms with a double bed each, both with an extra single bed. There's a fully-equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge. Overlooking a bird feeding area with frequent visits from red squirrels.
