Holmlands Bothy , Crawford

The Bothy is a small self contained unit within the grounds of our B and B .It has a lounge area with TV , DVD and wood burning stove. There is a small kitchen area with kettle , toaster , George Forman grill ,microwave and fridge. The bathroom has a shower , toilet and basin. Designed for two people with a comfy double mattress on the mezannine. It is rented on a self catering basis or we can provide continental breakfast hampers for an additional £18 ,must be pre ordered. Nearby EV charging .

The bothy has no mains water or electricity so is a real alternative experience, with separate flush toilet and washing facilities. Otherwise all home comforts are provided with double bed, kitchenette and wood-burning stove to create a cosy atmosphere

The Tower is located in a beautiful rural setting on the River Tweed and is an ideal location for exploring the Scottish Borders. Peebles is nearby with great amenities and there’s heavenly walks right from the door. Please be aware that The Tower is located at the end of a rural track and due care should be taken with speed and approach. The Tower is arranged over 4 floors with steep staircases.

Our cottage offers a fully equipped retreat to relax and unwind whilst being perfectly located for exploring a wide range of nearby activities and attractions , including Tinto Hill , Lanark , Historical New Lanark, the Clyde Valley and the wider Scottish Borders , Edinburgh and Glasgow are both within an 1 hour drive or accessible by train , Lanark and Carstairs train station are within a 20min drive .

The cottage is the perfect place to stay when attending weddings, a base for work or just a few days away. It is a real home from home.
