Woodsmoke Arts Studio: Boho country retreat

Relax and unwind in this artist-run bohemian retreat. Tucked away in the village of Preston, surrounded by orchards, you'll enjoy a peaceful 'get-away' yet be in easy reach of local amenities and Kent's stunning coastline. The studio is blissfully quiet, set back from the cottage with its own entrance under a vine-covered pergola, with access to a large garden. Your host is happy to interact as much or as little as you like, and will gladly share the best experiences the area has to offer.

Tulip Tree Cottage was originally the village school house built in the 1870's and now a comfortable and newly converted home situated in the Kent Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Old Wash House is set in the heart of the village of Littlebourne. There is on street parking if you're driving and a frequent bus service which runs into Canterbury and Sandwich every 30 minutes from right outside the property if you're not! You are a 5 minute drive from Canterbury with its rich history, art and culture, great shopping and restaurants and dining. The coast is just a 20 minute drive away too. The Old Wash House is good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers.

Open the window in the bedroom, fill the big bath tub and immerse yourself in the night sky with a glass of bubbles

A warm, stylish, peaceful retreat, perfect for a winter break, with seaside walks and cosy pubs a short stroll away. Treat yourself to a relaxing sauna with bracing cold plunge in the garden spa which is paid for separately. Enjoy Whitstable's great restaurants and cosy cafes. Alba Lodge is a double height space, designed with sustainability in mind. Drift off to sleep in the king size bed. Freshen up in the large walk in shower. Sauna and cold plunge is £30 per couple, per session.
