Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. The Bothy is stylishly converted from two jold stone farm cottages into a luxurious 2 bedroom cottage. The decor is a mix between birch ply panelling and polished cement, giving it a modern Scandi/Scottish feel, yet not losing its original charm and farm history. Some of the furniture has been made from beech and cedar from our farm. With view across the River Earn and surrounding hills, this is a perfect place to come, explore, unwind and relax.

A cute wee historic cottage in the Pentland Hills with magnificent views. This home is one of the few properties inside the Pentland Hills regional park. 30 minutes outside of Edinburgh. Harperrig Reservoir is at your door where you can swim and paddle. Endless walks in the Pentlands. Surrounded by farmland. Sit in the hot tub of an evening and watch the colours change in the hills as the sun sets. And wake in the morning to Nespresso coffee.

If you want a trip to Edinburgh it's about a 45 minute drive or you can drive to the local station - about 8 minutes away and take the train which is 25 minutes. Parking at the station is free.
