Just off the A303 and 10 minutes drive from Yeovil and Sherborne and 45 minute drive to the coast it is an ideal location. The Fleet Air Arm Museum and Haynes Motor Museum are 5 minutes away and there are a number of National Trust locations within a short drive. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

This two bedroom period house has been recently refurbished. It has en suite toilets to both bedrooms and a downstairs bathroom with separate bath and shower. There are two living rooms and a large fitted kitchen. There is no garden but a small outside sitting area. The house is two minutes walk of our local pub which provides good value food and drink. Castle Cary's attractive town centre with its many historic buildings is an eight minute walk. Street parking with no restrictions.

Nestled at the foot of historic Cadbury Castle in beautiful South Cadbury, our home is perfectly situated for anyone looking to escape the rat-race and recharge their batteries. Great local walks and fabulous local pubs within walking distance. A fabulous place to break a journey if you're travelling from London to Cornwall as we are pretty much half way. However, be warned, those that have done this so far, always wish they were staying for longer, and sometimes they do!
