Tranquil cottage Forest of Dean

Wake up to the sound of bird song and enjoy the serenity of this lovely dog friendly cottage in Alvington. Explore The Forest of Dean with its many walking and cycling trails, where there is the opportunity to see wild boar, pine martins and deer. Close to attractions eg Tintern Abbey, FOD steam Railway, Symonds Yat and the lovely Wye valley. Not a retail therapy destination. Max stay of 4 weeks (Cleaning and change of linen are undertaken weekly, for longer stays the cleaning fee is £40 )

Horse Gin, Castlemain Mill, Forest of Dean

Situated in the middle of the Forest of Dean and the quiet village of Parkend, Gloucestershire, Horse Gin offers fully equipped self-catering accommodation all year round. Horse Gin is named after an old local coal shaft as the owners main house, Castlemain Mill, on the same site was previously the Parkend Deep Navigation Collieries office. Pathwell Farm has 2 dog friendly self catering holiday lets - Ash (sleeps 4) and Oak (sleeps 2 +2 on a sofa bed). Perfect to rent out individually or together for larger groups. Each let has its own enclosed courtyard. There is a designated 2 acre exercise field. Parking for several cars. The Royal Forest of Dean has miles of very scenic footpaths and fantastic bike tracks. Close by are Chepstow, Monmouth, Coleford, Ross on Wye and the Wye Valley - an “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty”.

This individual Annexe is situated near the wonderful market town of Coleford in the heart of the Forest of Dean, which has all the amenities needed to make your stay enjoyable and is an ideal base to explore the area. There are many places to visit, such as, Puzzlewood, (walking distance), Clearwell caves, Symonds Yat and the Wye Valley. There is a footpath that leads directly from the property into the forest so you can enjoy walking and biking. There’s also two 18 hole golf courses nearby.

Rose Cottage forms part of the old stable block of the Clanna Country Estate dating back to the 1850's and as such, they combine rustic character with modern comfort. The cottage is both family and doggy friendly. The cottage provides an ideal base for exploring the natural beauty and history of the area while offering a warm and welcoming place to return to after a day of adventure. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The loft is a perfect place to stay for anyone who wants to relax whilst overlooking the glorious panoramic forest view. The accommodation is compact comprising a silent night double bed, sofa, shower and toilet room, kitchenette with microwave, fridge / freezer and TV. The loft is ideally situated for forest walks, bike riding or enjoying any one of the attractions within the forest of dean. Please add dogs to the booking if bringing them.

Little Oak - romantic & spacious, Forest of Dean

This is our newly built light and airy self contained guesthouse set in the beautiful Forest of Dean. It's the perfect location for exploring all that the forest has to offer. We are on the edge of the village of Bream and you can access the forest from the lane opposite, straight down a path and you're into the woods. It's a great spot for walking and there are lots of mountain bike trails that start from our door step. We live in the cottage next door and share the off road parking.

Hidden away on the edge of the ancient Forest of Dean, in the beautiful Wye Valley, with a large secluded garden, accessed by a mile long, narrow, single track lane, hanging with ferns in summer. It's is a fabulous place for walkers and town escapees. Once a woodman’s cottage, with a cosy, spacious interior, fully equipped kitchen, log burner, very comfortable beds, all you need for a relaxing break. Not suitable for young children 1-12, the large garden has a pond and steep terracing.
