This fully modernized and beautifully furnished self-contained apartment forms the rear part of a listed Georgian farmhouse dating back to the 1800's. Located in the village of Cardrona by the River Tweed the apartment is ideally located for mountain biking at Glentress Forest (1.5m) fishing on the Tweed, and walking some of Scotland's most stunning countryside. The apartment intersects the recently opened Tweed Valley Railway cycle path providing easy access by bike to Peebles and Innerleithen.

Romantic Medieval Castle

Barns Tower is an authentic medieval mini castle with roaring log fires and all modern comforts. The Tower is located in a beautiful rural setting on the River Tweed and is an ideal location for exploring the Scottish Borders. Peebles is nearby with great amenities and there’s heavenly walks right from the door. Please be aware that The Tower is located at the end of a rural track and due care should be taken with speed and approach. The Tower is arranged over 4 floors with steep staircases.

Our guest suite is in a quiet residential area in Balerno; a village at the foot of the scenic Pentland Hills. A beautiful spot for walkers and nature lovers. To visit the city take a 25 minute car drive or the 44 Lothian bus at the end of the road for a 45 min bus ride to Edinburgh City Centre. Complimentary milk, coffee, tea and sugar plus cereal for your first breakfast. Shops, restaurants, bars, cafe & takeaways within a short walk. A parking spot on the drive is available on request.

Charming 1 bed in the heart of the Pentlands

The perfect place to relax after a day in the hills or the surrounding area. The Pentland Cosy nestles at the foot of the Pentland hills regional park. A self-contained one-bedroom lodge, the Cosy is tucked away a few metres from waymarked walks. Available all year round it’s ideal for walkers and lovers of the great outdoors. Also conveniently located just 9 miles from Edinburgh. We’re situated close to the A702 making us a convenient stop over if you’re traveling up or down the country.

Eco loft overlooking garden and stream

This artist and architect-designed house is clad in larch and well insulated with wool felts. The access to the separate loft of our eco-house is via an external staircase. A large south facing window in the main room overlooks the woodland garden and Shiplaw burn. There is a workspace/single bedroom for an extra guest. We are located within one of the biggest habitat restoration projects in Europe and are five minutes walk from a regular bus service to Edinburgh and across the Borders.

Hardgatehead Cottage.

Farm cottage tucked away in a rural idyll, this haven of peace is surrounded by panoramic views and situated in the middle of a working farm. You will only have sheep, perhaps some cattle and plenty of wildlife for neighbours. A car is recommended, you will be a 6 minute drive from the village of West Linton which is in easy reach of Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders. There are plenty of scenic walks from the doorstep or relax and enjoy the woodburning stove and the views.

Delightfully cosy, well equipped, simple, central flat ideal for couples, friends or small families. Breakfast goodies to start you off included. The bedroom can be set up as two singles or a kingsize bed. Double sofa bed in sitting room. Garden with apple trees and a summerhouse on decked area. Well equipped kitchen. Please note An additional cost may be charged if there is excessive use of electricity or gas above my fair usage policy as stated in house rules.

The Wee Trail House, Peebles & Glentress

The Wee Trail House is next-door to the main Trail House and was recently renovated to a high standard. The decor is warm, clean and relaxing throughout. A new kitchen was installed as well as a fresh modern bathroom. There are two bedrooms with king size zip and link beds which can be set up as double or twin rooms. The open plan kitchen, dining and living space is very sociable and the coffee table easily converts into a small or large dining table.

Scottish Borders Cottage

Scotstoun Entryhead Cottage is situated at the entrance to Scotstoun Estate, a 125 acre estate whose field boundaries have not changed since the 18th Century. Within easy reach of Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Scottish Borders, the cottage is the perfect base from which to explore Southern Scotland. Recently fully renovated by an award winning architect the accommodation is comfortable and stylish, has its own garden and plenty of off-street parking.
