Please Note: This property is not accessible with trailers or boats because of the tight turns on the road in. It is no problem for standard size cars or pickups. Come enjoy our Mountain Getaway nestled in The Nantahala National Forest and only 3 miles from Main St. in Franklin. You will enjoy quiet solitude after a full day of hiking, biking, white water rafting, or viewing some of our many waterfalls. Your GPS will get you to our door but feel free to call if further directions are needed.

Our newly renovated ground-level apartment is located 15 minutes from downtown Waynesville and 30 minutes from Asheville and Tennessee. Welcome to Casa Paz, located in Western North Carolina. Casa Paz is a creek side property at the gateway to the Smoky Mountains National Park. Enjoy this spacious one bedroom, one bathroom first floor apartment with expansive views of Jonathan Creek. Equipped with hot tub, kitchenette, rocking chairs, fire pit with grill, fireplace, portable heating, portable air conditioner, sofa bed and a laundry room. Beach access to the river for yoga, bathing, fishing, tubing, bird watching and more.

Our cozy and inviting first-floor apartment is just steps away from all the beauty and activities that Lake Junaluska and the Great Smoky Mountains have to offer. From May through September, guests can enjoy seasonal amenities like the swimming pool, sport courts, lakeside gardens, and more! The apartment has its own private entrance and porch, located in a peaceful and walkable neighborhood—perfect for morning strolls or evening relaxation.

Completely remodeled 2BR/2Bath apartment with private driveway and private entrance. Enjoy your luxury mountain getaway on twelve acres with beautiful mountain views. Roast marshmallows and play corn hole by the fire pit or relax inside and watch one of over 200 movies available on our Apple TV. We are located 20 minutes from quaint downtown Waynesville and 35 minutes from downtown Asheville. Apartment is the lower level of our home and completely closed off from owner's quarters.

Honey Mooners

Honey Mooners log cabin apartment, located with a Smoky Mountains stunning view, is the lower living quarters which is completely separated from the upper level. Sleeps up to 4 people comfortably. Spacious with a cozy living room, dinning room, one bedroom with king size bed, and a relaxing sunroom. Sofa bed. One full bathroom with linens and towels provided. Wi-Fi, Netflix, and gas fireplace, fire-pit, laundry and a full kitchen set up. Pets must be approved before booking.

Mountain Retreat 20 minutes from AVL

Your stay supports our nonprofit animal rescue Misfit Mountain which is located at a separate location. The space is a bottom (pet friendly) apartment of an A-Frame cabin. We live on the top part of the cabin with our dogs who will bark at you when you come and go (security). You may hear some light treading above when our pups are using the potty. Guests will have access to their apartment with a separate entrance as well a separate deck for their stay.

Chrissy's Cabin

Perfect location and pet-friendly (please check pet fee). Lake Junaluska, Waynesville and Maggie Valley are minutes away, and a half-hour to Asheville. Easily accessible all four seasons, the apartment is the entire first floor, with private ground-level entrance. Dedicated parking for two cars, though not large enough for trailers. Not suitable for children under 12. Due to the quiet vibes of the neighborhood, motorcycles are discouraged.

Escape to our serene private accommodations near the farm, just 23 minutes from Asheville and a short drive from the charming town of Weaverville. Enjoy stargazing, hiking, and breathtaking views, and sunsets, all while relaxing in a swinging chair on your private deck. With cozy interiors and easy access to local shops and restaurants, this is the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience for your getaway.
