'Unexpected Cottage', a Fenland rural retreat

Detached large yet cosy 2 bedroom house in a hamlet in North Cambridgeshire, bordering Norfolk & Lincolnshire. 1 double bed & 2 single beds. Lounge, dining room & compact yet functional kitchen. 1 downstairs bathroom (towels NOT provided). This is an old farm cottage, and as such is quirky & a bit wonky! Secluded rear garden has a barbecue & outdoor furniture, but paths are quite uneven. Local pub within walking distance. Between Wisbech, the Capital of the Fens & March. 40 miles to the coast.

Our Cabin offers a cosy independent stay with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, bedroom with super-king bed, luxury en-suite shower and utility with additional toilet. This eco friendly home has air sourced underfloor heating throughout and contains many upcycled items from the exterior reclaimed scaffolding boards to the many repurposed gems to be found inside. Stepping outside there is a private south facing patio and garden with its own parking space, all just a leisurely walk from town.

The Grange (Annex Apartment)

Quiet location, ideal for a relaxing break, or focal point to meet family or friends. Situated in the remote country village of Broughton. The village boasts popular and quaint pub, renowned for its food (The Crown). The Annex is detached from the main house, Lounge/Kitchen area, Bathroom, Two ground floor Bedrooms, with a third double situated in what was a Hay Loft (not suitable for children under 14 years of age). Recently re-furbished. Ample parking on the drive for 2 to 3 cars.

It has a large pretty private garden and is dog friendly. The cottage overlooks the village green and village community pub family and pet friendly. We have put a lot of care and attention into our unique log cabin, hot tub and private garden. Access is through our separate secure entrance to the bespoke garden. When inside feel free to enjoy a relaxing night under the stars, ideal for a couple or solo travellers. The Secret Corner is the perfect base to explore local areas including Woburn, Wrest Park and a short ride away to Flitwick Train Station with direct access to London St Pancras in less than an hour.
