Oceanfront Condo "Beachcastings"

We love to share our beach condo, and its greatest asset is its location. You can see and hear the waves crashing, with nothing obstructing the view. There are lovely grounds for playing or grilling, & a nice pool. The condo is between Fort Macon & central Atlantic Beach. The NC Aquarium, Morehead City, & Beaufort are nearby. Emerald Isle & Swansboro also aren’t too far. Harker’s Island & Cape Lookout are fun excursions. And for a major day trip, you can take the Cedar Island ferry to Ocracoke.

Blue Heron Shack

This unique studio apartment is ready for your next adventure located just 14 miles east of Beaufort. Whether that be paddle-boarding across the way to a white sand beach, kayak ride, or settling down with a good book on the dock. Access to the beach is available at Atlantic Beach (25 min drive) or Radio Island (15 min drive) . Ferry service to Cape Lookout via Harkers Island (10 min drive), Shackleford Banks via Beaufort (20 min drive), and day trips to Ocracoke via Cedar Island (35 min drive).

Wild Rose Cottage, Gardens, & Stained Glass Studio

Our 1914 cottage has weathered many storms and stands tall with charm. She is well loved and lived in. We have chickens pecking, ducks waddling through the gardens, sun shining through our stained glass, spiders spinning webs, paint drips, palmetto bugs, an old swing in the front yard, cats napping, Spanish moss in the trees, and a screened-in porch to take in the beauty of a long day's sunset. Our island homestead is for those looking for a down-to-earth stay with nature & art close at hand. ♥

The Yates Cottage

Welcome to the beauty and nature of Core Sound! The Yates Cottage is directly on the water and is designed for spectacular views of Core Sound and Cape Lookout Lighthouse with large windows on 3 sides. Other amenities are a large screen porch, fire pit, and a large yard for lawn games. The Yates cottage is great for couples, families, dogs, joggers, walkers, bikers, fishers and boaters. You will be welcomed with freshly-made beds, towels and a full kitchen with Keurig and Rachel Ray cookware.

Captain Brown's Farmhouse

Enjoy this unique and family/pet-friendly home. Captain Claude Brown built this charming farmhouse in 1945 for his bride Belle. The Brown family is very well-known in Marshallberg, NC. The road and an island are named after them! The farmhouse was lovingly renovated in 2023 and is ready for guests, both 2-legged and 4-legged! There is a water view from the front porch, the Marshallberg Harbor and boat ramp are a 1/2 mile away, and a doggy door leads to a fun fenced-in area for Fido!

Mermaid Lookout Cottage

Mermaid Lookout Cottage is a renovated, cozy 1,100 square foot 2 bedroom cottage with the warmth of refinished hardwood floors. The cottage has a bright cheerful coastal themed decor with whimsical mermaid touches throughout. Located in the small residential community of Marshallberg, NC, which is a peninsula surrounded by the waters of Core Sound and Sleepy Creek. The perfect location away from it all but close enough to explore all that the Crystal Coast has to offer.

Ant’s Corner

Ant’s Corner is a cozy coastal retreat with a water view in a quiet neighborhood conveniently located near Island Express Ferry Service and Core Sound Waterfowl Museum. Home updates done in spring of 2024 include- entire interior painted, popcorn ceilings removed and other drywall repairs, new ceiling fans and interior lighting, and more! House is stocked with plenty of kitchen necessities and other conveniences so all you need to do is show up ready to relax!
